The tower was able to downsize our 500-ton chiller to a 350-ton chiller, thereby reducing energy costs to the association.
 
Tasks

To maintain the appealing view from the Nauru Tower while helping to balance the internal AC load and maximize the condominiums’ efficiency and marketability. To protect the condominiums’ interior from heat and high energy bills. and prevent fading of fabrics and carpets, without changing the aesthetics of Nauru Tower’s beautiful ocean view.

Solution

Hüper Optik® Ceramic series was presented to the Nauru Tower board of directors with emphasis on the durability of nano-ceramic technology. Hüper Optik® Ceramic films are made of metal-free and dye-free materials. which means that they will not appear shiny and they will not fade. Ceramic films block up to 61% of the total solar heat and offer over 99% UV protection, all while leaving the interior and exterior aesthetics unchanged.

Result

Upon the Nauru Tower board of directors’ approval. installation of Hüper Optik® Ceramic films showed immediate results in reducing energy costs. fading, heat and glare while preserving the view and exterior appearance of Nauru Tower. Residents who have opted to install this film have only positive comments.
